Sideout Sports is proud to announce the recent partnership with Consolidated Environmental Inc.!

Consolidated Environmental Inc. will provide professional cleaning services for Sideout Sports Volleyball Club. They will be applying Bioesque Botanical Disinfectant Solution using electrostatic sprayers (commercial grade equipment used to sanitize airplanes, hospitals, hotels, etc), throughout the facility including all equipment. Bioesque is a safe botanical disinfectant solution which is part of the EPA LIST N: Disinfectant for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. More information regarding this product can be found below on the fact sheet. 

Consolidated Environment Inc. is a member of the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) as well as the Mechanical Systems Hygiene Institute (MSHI).

RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES FOR INDIVIDUALS

  • Before Activities
    • Be symptom free for at least 14 days prior to any activity. 
    • Stay home if you are sick or do not feel well
    • Be aware of and disclose any potential contacts with affected individuals. 
    • Wash and sanitize your hands often.
    • Do not touch your face, eyes or mouth with unclean hands.
    • Wear a face mask to reduce exposure to airborne particles.
  • During Activities
    • Refrain from attending any activity if displaying any symptoms.
    • Comply with all permissible regulations approved for the venue.
    • Wear a face mask to reduce exposure to airborne particles.
    • Wash and sanitize your hands often.
    • Do not touch your face, eyes or mouth with unclean hands.
    • Refrain from contacting other participants and attendees (high fives and huddles).
    • Bring hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes.
  • After Activities
    • Wash and sanitize your hands often.
    • Do not touch your face, eyes or mouth with unclean hands.
    • Monitor your health and report any symptoms after every activity.
    • Practice social distancing as often as possible.
    • Wear a face mask to reduce exposure to airborne particles.
    • Wash and sanitize all gear, uniforms and apparel used during the activity.

RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES FOR CLUBS AND CLUB FACILITIES

  • Facility
    • All entry will be by appointment only for confirmed lessons, clinic enrollment and camp enrollment.
    • Parents/Spectators will not be allowed in the building during programs. This will allow us to maintain a lower volume of traffic in the building. 
    • All staff and players will be screened and have their temperatures taken before entering the courts.
    • All attending individuals must fill out our "Safety and Healthy Symptom Questionnaire" within 24 hours of attending a program or event. Instructions are below.
    • Athletes, staff and parents/guardians will be required to wear cloth or disposable masks at all times. Athletes will have an option to temporarily remove their face masks when persons engaged in high intensity aerobic or anaerobic activities. as per the nj.gov Health Department. During this temporary time, strict social distancing will be in effect. 
    • Sanitizing stations are provided throughout the facility.
    • There will be no congregating in the lobby or restrooms
    • Payments should be online or by phone. If paying by cash or check, please have the player bring the payment in a sealed envelope before the session.
  • Before a Program
    • Staff will take temperatures and verify that venue staff, club staff, and participants are symptom-free before participating in any program.
    • All attendees must pass their "Safety and Healthy Symptom Questionnaire" within the last 24 hours of the commencement of the program.
  • During a Program
    • We have limited the number of people in the facility to be compliant with local guidance.
    • Drills may be temporarily modified for the safety and comfort of players and staff.
    • Players will have designated areas to keep their personal belongings.
    • Staff can and will remove anyone from courts if they exhibit any symptoms.
  • After a Program
    • All staff will wash and sanitize their hands. Athletes should do the same.
    • Staff will clean and disinfect used equipment and commonly touched surfaces.

IF AN ATHLETE TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

  • First, if a player is experiencing two or more symptoms, please contact us immediately.
  • All individuals who were in close contact with the COVID positive individual will get an email with an update. Close contact is defined as someone who was within 6 feet of the infected person for at least 15 minutes at any time beginning 2 days before the infected person had symptoms or tested positive. 
  • Adhering to CDC guidelines, the individual who tested positive may not return until:
    • 10 days since symptoms first appeared and
    • 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
    • Other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving

IF AN ATHLETE WAS IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH AN INDIVIDUAL WHO TESTS POSITIVE

  • Adhering to CDC guidelines, before returning to any practice, program or event, the athlete can do the following:
    • Return after day 7 after receiving a negative test on day 5 or later
    • Return after day 10 without a test
    • Return immediately if they have had COVID in the past 3 months and/or is fully vaccinated
  • An athlete is excluded from quarantining and may return to practice if:
    • ​​​​​​​They have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 3 months and recovered
    • They have been fully vaccinated against the disease within the last three months and show no symptoms.

CrowdBlink App

As we strive to keep our athletes safe and healthy, we have updated our check-in system which will now consist of a "symptom questionnaire" form and a QR code being scanned upon entering the building. The sole purpose of this is to ensure that no athlete/coach is entering the building with any known symptoms. Also, this will allow us to better internally contract trace, if necessary. This process will all be done via the CrowdBlink Protect App, please see below for the instructions. Please note that this is required by all coaches and athletes entering the building. If your child does not have a smartphone, we will have a tablet available for them to use upon check-in. 

1) Download the free CrowdBlink Protect app via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2) Create an account, and enter our authorization code when prompted (NVEGJU).

3) Once you create your account and are linked to our profile, you will be able to fill out the "symptom questionnaire" upon arriving at our facility. 

4) After the questionnaire, if you are not showing any symptoms, the app will produce a QR code with a green border (which we will scan), which means you are cleared to our program or event. If you are showing symptoms, the app will produce a QR code with a red border, which means you are not cleared to participate in the program or event.
