Sideout Sports Volleyball Club will be hosting a Boys Club Open House on Friday, August 18th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Our Open House will consist of on-court instruction for all athletes who are interested in playing at Sideout Sports in the upcoming season. During this time, parents both new and returning are welcome to stop in and receive more information on the 2023-2024 club season. Our full-time staff will be able to answer any questions you may have about our club including evaluations, team placement, practices, single-day and multi-day tournaments, travel info, uniforms, competition, and costs. 

New athletes who are looking to attend the on-court instruction portion of the Open House are to register using the link below.

What is Club volleyball?

The club volleyball season is a 6 month program and generally starts in the fall.  Tryouts are held in August with the regular season practices normally starting in September.  For most teams, tournament play starts in November and ends in February. Tournaments are played on the weekend.
 

Why should I consider playing club?

There are several great reasons and/or benefits to playing club volleyball, including:

• the opportunity to learn about the sport of volleyball in a constructive environment,

• improving and maximizing a player's individual and team volleyball skills with the guidance of experienced coaches,

• getting a chance to learn life skills such as teamwork, effort, positive attitude, handling challenges, learning to compete and be confident,

• making new friends and memories

Many players join Sideout Sports Volleyball Club ("SOSVBC") to experience these benefits in a positive, yet challenging program that gives them the chance to better prepare themselves as volleyball players.
